Welcome to the KI0KB information page! Here you will find the latest updates and information below about any of my upcoming ham radio grid activation activities. I will be sharing my experiences in a PDF format after an activation trip is finished.

With the apparent demise of GC that part of the journey may be over but a new phase of LEO SAT Roving is in the works. A new 2M roving antenna has to be acquired in order for that to happen. The same mast and rotor system can be utilized. It won't be quite the same without the worldwide coverage of GC but just as fun. Who knows, maybe a trip to the top of a mountain will be in order for a try into EU someday. The one advantage is that the all-night passes would be a thing of the past since everything that can be covered can be done during normal waking hours!
